2025 Fulbright Specialist – Engineering Professor, Arash Takshi

Professor Arash Taksh, has been named a Fulbright Specialist by the U.S. Department of State. This appointment provides U.S. professionals like Takshi with a chance to participate in short-term, project-based exchanges, where they work with host institutions abroad to promote mutual understanding and foster educational collaborations. The Fulbright Specialist Program is designed to provide U.S. academics and professionals with the opportunity to share their expertise globally while building capacity at their overseas host institutions.

Assistant Professor Rituparna Samanta from ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ’s Department of Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering has been awarded a 2025 New Researcher Grant. Her work explores the phase behavior of proteins and polymers, advancing biomedical engineering and materials science. Samanta joined ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ in 2024 after postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins.
