A good way to relieve stress and anxiety is through yoga. It provides many benefits, like improving mental health, reducing burnout, promotes self-care and reduces anxiety. Join us everyday for a free yoga class in nature, all levels welcomed!

Beginner's Guide to Medical Botany

November 1st, 10 AM - 11:30 AM

Join us for our newest installment of our, "Beginner's Guide to..." series! On Saturday, November 1st, learn from experts about the history of medicinal plants around the world, how to use the ones we that are most commonly seen in our area, and for a trip to our very own medicinal garden all taught by Dr. Rao and Dr. Kiahtipes!

Plantasia Night with Stampede Sounds Collective

November 14th, Gate opens at 7 PM & show starts at 8 PM

We invite you to the event of a liftime, Plantasia Night! Come out to see local ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ bands, Dove Bomb, Traïnier, and Mossheads. For $10 entry at the gate you can experience a night for the books!

BEEKEEPING

We have an Apiary Collective that meets to talk about our Western Honey Bee (Apis mellifera), join us to learn through demonstration about our Botanical Gardens hives!

Starting on Friday, September 26th the collective will be meeting every other Friday at 10:30 AM.

MESSER FAMILY BEEKEEPING SCHOLARSHIP 

Anyone can have the opportunity to participate in our course through the Messer Family Award. To become an applicant, submit a personal statement—500 words or less - on why urban beekeeping is important to you and the community. 

This award will assist with course expenses for individuals interested in pursuing beekeeping as well as show a committed effort to increase urban beekeeping in the local community. Expenditures awarded from this fund will be used for but not limited to course registration costs, the purchase of course educational materials and required supplies.
