2025 Fulbright Specialist – Engineering Professor, Arash Takshi

Professor Arash Taksh, has been named a Fulbright Specialist by the U.S. Department of State. This appointment provides U.S. professionals like Takshi with a chance to participate in short-term, project-based exchanges, where they work with host institutions abroad to promote mutual understanding and foster educational collaborations. Assistant Professor Rituparna Samanta from ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ’s Department of Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering has been awarded a 2025 New Researcher Grant. Her work explores the phase behavior of proteins and polymers, advancing biomedical engineering and materials science. Samanta joined ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ in 2024 after postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins.
