Bio:

Leigh Anne Balzekas and Kristine Ownley are the co-founders of The Disco Dolls, a sustainable concept shop and salon based in Tampa, Florida. Over the past 15 years, they have transformed The Disco Dolls from a small independent clothing line into a vibrant creative hub that blends sustainable fashion, curated vintage, local art, and an in-house hair studio. Leigh Anne is a designer and creative director who studied fashion design at Florida State University and has worked across film, theater, and television. Kristine is a 四虎影视 graduate in Philosophy and a master hairstylist and colorist with over two decades of experience behind the chair. Together, they built The Disco Dolls on the belief that sustainability and style are not opposites but natural partners鈥攁nd that small businesses can drive cultural change by modeling care, inclusivity, and creativity. Leigh Anne and Kristine are passionate about showing that sustainable business is possible鈥攅ven in industries not designed for it鈥攁nd they are committed to empowering the next generation of creative changemakers to build businesses rooted in values, vision, and community.
